Ukraine Ticket Purchased

19 September 2007

Working till 2am this morning and then up at 5am to queue for Scotland v Ukraine ticket at Hampden. A strong coffee was very much needed.

There were a couple of hundred people in front of me and I finally got my hands on my ticket around 10.00. Could have been worse I suppose and I certainly felt sorry for the thousands of people still waiting outside in the freezing cold as I made my way home - will be a long wait.

I continued my role as Media Tart by posing for a photo for the high brow newspaper that is the Daily Record. This follows on from my appearance on the front page of the Evening Times last year after queuing for a France ticket and my ugly mug may well be (dis)gracing the rag this evening.

Had much enjoyment at text message from my friend who is currently holidaying in Turkey and was desparately trying to get someone to buy him a ticket. He has constantly been going on about how he “has been on 12 holidays this year”. Well, I’m quite happy with my 3 days in France last week thank you very much and now I shall be waving at you from Hampden on the 13th of October as you watch on the TV. Nae joy.

Must not miss SSC Italy ticket deadline as mornings do not agree with me.
